Marking the first new collection collaboration between Senior International Creative Director Mark Hayes
and International Creative Director Richard Ashforth, the LIBERTINE collection channels the rebellious
glamour of the Bright Young Things of interwar London, reimagined for a new generation of tastemakers.
Rooted in Sassoon’s precision heritage, it fuses sharp geometry with fluid spontaneity, celebrates
individuality and cultural audacity. Cuts collapse and expand with movement, embody studied
insouciance—disciplined and free. Colour is decadent restrained with tones that shimmer between satin
shine and velvet matte, evoking eras from 1920s opulence to 1990s gloss. LIBERTINE resonates with
Gen Z’s casual confidence and fluid beauty, uniting heritage and modernity in a louche, sophisticated
expression of self-expression and contemporary hair design.
The Collection launch provides direct access to the latest developments from Sassoon Academy, the
creative hub where innovation meets precision. Led by the esteemed Sassoon Creative Team, the
programme offers an immersive experience into the latest Sassoon collection, blending artistic vision with
